Due to continued success and expansion, our Client, a leading, prestigious County Antrim based employer urgently wish to recruit an experienced HR Officer.  This is a permanent HR Officer job and is an addition to the current HR team.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer/HR Advisor to provide guidance and support across a large and very diverse workforce.  Handling recruitment, training, employee relation issues and HR projects.  This is a very fast paced and reactive business and the successful HR Officer must have strong communication and organisation skills, passion and innovative approach to staff development and engagement. 


The Role:

  • Report to the HR Manager and work closely with a team of 5
  • Support with end to end, high volume and niche recruitment & Selection campaigns
  • Provide training, coaching and support to line managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Support Managers with employee relations issues, ensuring best practices and legislation is adhered to – conduct investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings, appeals etc
  • Deal with day to day HR queries, using initiative to resolve situations or escalate complex matters to the HR Manager as required
  • Support new HR projects eg new system implementation
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team


The Person:


  • Educated to Degree level in an HR or business-related topic
  • Minimum of 2 years Hr generalist experience
  • Experience in participating on employee relations cases – conducting investigations, meetings & appeals
  • Experience in Recruitment & Selection
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communicator
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Associate CIPD, or working towards this qualification
  • CIPD qualified OR working towards this
