You’ll be working alongside a relatively small team of Chartered Accountants in a firm that rivals its competitors with its benefits package. The team is friendly, sociable and yet professional. There is a positive and relaxed atmosphere and while this is a busy and demanding role, employees and their requirements are placed in the highest importance.
The team manages the Auditing requirements for NI clients only. The work they do is all with local clients, and while primarily based in the private sector, they have relationships with clients in a wide range of industries. Unlike some Accounting roles in Audit, there is no overseas or southern Ireland travel requirements, and the working hours are favorable except in unusual circumstances.
There has been recent growth with new clients being won and while growth is normally organic within this team, with regular promotions, they are now keen to bring a newly qualified accountant, an assistant manager, and a manager on board. With each of these positions there is ample room to progress with further growth plans in mind and more junior staff to be managed. The firm is prepared to set in place a plan for progression, so there is genuine room for career advancement.
This role will be suited to qualified accountants coming from a range of backgrounds. You may be working in an auditing role with another firm, but you may also come from a smaller firm where you have had only limited exposure to audit. This team is prepared to invest time in your development in this area and give you the support and training required to see you progress.
To apply, you must be a qualified accountant with some exposure to auditing. You’ll be rewarded with an extremely competitive salary, please get in touch for a breakdown of salaries being offered at each level. If you would like any more information on this role before applying, you can reach out to me on LinkedIn or calling our office in Belfast. I am always happy to have a confidential discussion over a call or a coffee.
