Employment Partner 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for our client a leading commercial law firm in Belfast to run their successful employment department. The firm is in the early stages of a large growth period and as such it is an exciting time to join them. They have a solid employment practice which includes corporate support, tribunal and also broad contentious employment matters and would deal with a broad range of corporate clients from Top 100 to smaller companies. This role would suit an employment partner who is keen to join a large commercial firm and run a successful team or a successful and bright senior associate with a good network keen to move into a Partner role.

The Role

The role will require running the existing employment practice but also further growing this practice with the support of the firm. The nature of the work will include both contentious and non-contentious and also tribunal.

The Candidate

The successful applicant will ideally meet the following criteria

–          Qualified Solicitor – Ideally 5 + years PQE

–          Must have extensive employment experience and be able to demonstrate managing own caseload of corporate employment work

–          Will have a mix of both contentious and non contentious experience

–          Good client network

–          People management/mentoring skills
