Our Client is a large, well established, Belfast based Charity and they wish to recruit an experienced and fully qualified Finance Manager.  This is a permanent, senior Finance Manager job working 35 hours per week, managing a small team of 3.  The successful Finance Manager will be a fully qualified Accountant with strong people management experience.  Recent, relevant experience of producing financial and management accounts, strong commercial reporting and payroll are all key criteria.


The Role:

  • Report to the Finance Director and manage a team of 3 direct reports
  • Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts for the Group
  • Lead budget meetings
  • Prepare income and expenditure areas
  • Monitor budget financial performance and advise the Senior Management Team
  • Lead financial transactions across multiple sites
  • Lead Group cash flow accounting requirements
  • Prepare Group VAT submissions
  • Approve balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lead responsibility for payroll
  • Responsible for credit control and cash collection
  • Creation and development of business reports
  • Create financial models
  • Statutory reporting responsibilities


The Person:

  • Fully qualified accountant, essential
  • Strong financial experience at a senior level, minimum of 5 years +
  • Experience of producing financial and management accounts
  • Commercial, charitable sector experience, essential
  • Experience of managing and motivating staff, essential
  • Payroll experience and commercial reporting, essential
  • Full driving license and access to a car, essential
