Due to a maternity absence, our elite Belfast based Client urgently wish to recruit an HR Assistant.  This is a generalist HR Job, for a 12 month duration, offering an immediate start.  The successful HR Assistant will report to the HR Manager providing effective HR administration and recruitment support.


The Role

  • Immediate start
  • 12 month fixed term contract
  • Administer and coordinate all recruitment competitions – advertise, prepare application forms, schedule interviews
  • Prepare and distribute contracts
  • Carry out inductions for all new starts
  • Maintenance of manual and computerised records – PAMS
  • Calculate annual leave
  • Coordinate the return of annual staff appraisals
  • Prepare details of monthly payroll changes
  • Organisation and coordinate training and development programmes
  • Assist with updating HR policies and procedures


The Person

  • 5 GCSEs – Grade C in English and Maths, essential
  • Minimum of 1 years’ HR administration experience working within a busy HR office, essential
  • Experience in using PAMS and GETGOT, essential
  • Experience of working in a team environment, essential
  • High standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
