Due to continued successful and growth our Client, one of Northern Ireland’s reputable, market leading organisations, are keen to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner.  This is a permanent HR Business Partner job, based in Belfast.  The successful HR Manager/Generalist will report to the Group HR Manager and join a busy, fast paced team.

This is an exciting HR job, being part of a commercial organisation with strong values and a proactive people/business strategy.  The successful HR Business Partner will provide expert advice and operational HR support across the Group in addition to managing key strategic projects.

 

Duties:

  • Provide specialist HR advice to all employees across the Group
  • Lead and deliver on key strategic projects and initiatives
  • Promote a proactive approach to recruitment and achieving HR KPIs
  • Support the company growth plan through sourcing key talent
  • Manage and continually improve the company recruitment strategy
  • Work with HR leadership to ensure continuous quality improvement
  • Support Managers on disciplinary and grievance issues in line with legislation, policy and best practice
  • Manage sickness absence and long term absence, advising and making recommendations to managers and supervisors
  • Support performance management activity across the Group
  • Develop company policies and procedures
  • Undertake employee related investigations as required
  • Design, implement and deliver appropriate HR training as required
  • Conduct and record exit interviews
  • Ensure confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times

 

Requirements:

  • 3rd Level Degree in a relevant discipline
  • MCIPD or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience gained in a fast paced commercial environment
  • Strong experience in using HR knowledge to provide solutions to challenges/problems
  • Experience of implementing creative HR solutions
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Line Managers
  • Proven track record in effectively dealing with employee relations, including experience of working with Trade Unions
  • Evidence of dealing with short and long term absence management
  • Up to date knowledge of appropriate legislation and case law
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly flexible approach to team work
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Commercial awareness, client focus and able to align business and people strategies
  • Good consulting capabilities, including negotiation and facilitation
