Due to continued success, our Belfast based Client, an award winning market leader in their professional field, wishes to appoint an experienced Senior HR Business Partner.  This is a permanent, full time, Senior HR Business Partner job.  Reporting to the HR Director, and working within a busy, engaged HR team, the successful HR Business Partner will work with the business to ensure all HR processes and procedures are robust.  This is a key, operational HR role.  Coaching, advising, managing employee relations issues and performance management are all strong aspects to the role, in addition to assisting with strategic HR projects.

 

The Role:

  • Report to the HR Director
  • Review, update and revise HR processes and procedures to comply with legislation and best practice
  • Coach and advise line Managers on the management of employee related issues – disciplinary, grievance, performance etc
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
  • Support talent and succession planning initiatives
  • Assist the HR Director with the development of clear performance management across the business.  Provide appropriate coaching.
  • Work alongside the Learning & Development Manager to ensure training needs are supported
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Manger to support and identify recruitment needs
  • Challenge current ways of working and drive positive change and improvements
  • Ad hoc HR projects/initiatives

 

The Person:

  • CIPD qualified – Chartered membership, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8-10 years Senior HR Management/Business Partner experience
  • Significant experience of working within a professional/financial services
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Commercial approach
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
