Due to continued growth, our Client, a leading, technology organisation, wishes to appoint an experienced Talent & Engagement Specialist.  This is a permanent Talent & Engagement job.  This HR role is a blend of recruitment, sourcing, promoting the company brand through networking and events and ensuring effective engagement and retention.   The successful Talent & Engagement Specialist will play an integral role in the recruitment, sourcing and overall employee lifecycle experience with the business.  Creativity, technology knowledge and/or experience, recruitment, retention and engagement experience are key.

 

The Role:

  • Develop and implement innovative methods for sourcing and attracting the best talent
  • Recruit and onboard new Team Members
  • Develop and implement creative strategies for promoting and showcasing the business
  • Conduct regular salary and benefit benchmarking exercises
  • Provide accurate and informative reports
  • Develop, implement and monitor effective engagement and retention strategies
  • Plan and manage internal and external events
  • Develop and deliver effective onboarding activities
  • Develop and engage in relevant networking activities
  • Recommend solutions to talent management problems

 

The Person:

  • 2 + years’ experience sourcing, attracting and recruiting IT talent
  • Experience in designing and delivering retention and/or engagement initiatives
  • Experience of promoting company brand  
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Results and solutions focused
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
