Excellent HR Advisor/HR generalist job with our leading, “top 100” employer based in Belfast.  Due to increased workflow and internal projects, this is new HR job, initially for a 3 month duration.  The successful HR Advisor will be responsible for the day to day activities supporting recruitment, inductions and employee relations activities across the business.  This is a varied HR job, being part of a progressive commercial organisation with strong values and a proactive people/business strategy. 

 

Duties:

  • Provide specialist HR advice to all employees
  • Support the recruitment and selection activity, onboarding process, induction etc
  • Support Managers with disciplinary & grievance issues, in line with legislation, best practice
  • Undertake employee investigations as required
  • Manage sickness absence and long term absence
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives
  • Maintain the HR database, generate reports and analytics
  • Promote the achievement of KPIs
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Assist in the development of company policies and procedures
  • Deliver appropriate HR training

 

Requirements:

  • 3rd Level Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Associate CIPD or working towards
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in a multi-site environment
  • Experience working in a fast paced commercial environment
  • Extensive exposure to recruitment & selection activities
  • Proven track record in effectively dealing with employee relations, including absence management
  • Evidence of dealing with short and long term absence management
  • Up to date knowledge of appropriate legislation and case law
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly flexible approach to team work
