Our Client is a highly successful, leading multi-site, organisation in Belfast, who urgently wish to recruit an experienced, HR Officer.  This is a permanent HR Generalist job working within a very busy team providing high quality HR support to 2 specific business areas, a headcount of over 300.  The successful HR Officer will enjoy working in a busy, professional environment, advising and overseeing the day to day HR activities and processes, ensuring best practice and compliance to policies as well as, coaching and upskilling line managers. 

 

The Role:

  • Report to the HR Manager, working in a busy team of 6
  • Provide guidance and support to Line Managers and employee within 2 large business areas
  • Manage sickness absence and non-attendance, including long term sickness
  • Monitor, support and advise on employee relations issues, guiding on disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Handling complex queries and challenging employees
  • Provide training, coaching and support to line managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Manage the employee administration workload, management and maintenance of up to date and accurate employee records
  • Complete, analyse and identify trends in weekly and monthly HR reports and KPIs

 

The Person:

  • Proven HR generalist background at HR Officer level, essential
  • Experience within a fast paced, commercial sector, essential
  • Experience of advising on employee relation issues, essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good conflict resolution experience
  • Full driving license
