Our Client is a successful engineering employer in the L’Derry area and they urgently wish to recruit an experienced Training Coordinator.  This is a permanent, full time training job and the successful Learning and Development professional will report to the HR Manager and be responsible for the management and implementation of all learning and development, to enhance employee skills, performance, productivity etc.

 

Duties:

  • Develop an overall training plan
  • Identify future and current learning and development needs through job analysis, appraisals etc
  • Design, deliver and /or source training courses and programmes
  • Coordinate the design and delivery of work processes
  • Collate and maintain a skills matrix
  • Conduct effective induction training
  • Manage and annual training budget
  • Organise training venues, schedules and logistics
  • Liaise with external funding and advisory organisations

 

Criteria:

  • CIPD or CTP qualified, desirable
  • 2+ years experience within a similar training role
  • Experience of having developed and rolled out a company wide training plan
  • Experience of coordinating, designing and delivering
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Results focused
  • Good analytical, planning and organising skills
