Due to continued success and growth, our impressive, manufacturing Client, in the County Tyrone area, urgently wishes to appoint an experienced HR Officer.  This is a permanent HR Officer/Generalist job working as part of a busy, fast paced team.  The successful HR Officer will enjoy supporting a large, diverse workforce, managing absence, KPIs, conducting investigations and welfare meetings as well as getting involved in supporting key HR projects.  This is an excellent HR generalist role offering strong career progression, an excellent opportunity for an ambitious HR professional with a couple of years commercial, HR experience, eager to develop their skills. 

 

The Role:

  • Report to, and support, the HR Business Partner
  • Recruitment, selection and retention activities
  • Support the change management process
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Support Managers with performance management, absence management, discipline and grievance issues
  • Promote and support compliance
  • Provide expert advice on the full range of employment issues
  • Support the HRBP with engagement initiatives, health & wellbeing etc
  • Support HR projects

 

The Person:

  • 3rd level qualification (Degree or HND)
  • CIPD qualified, or working towards, preferable
  • At least 2 years, recent, HR Generalist experience, essential
  • Experience within a production/industrial environment would be preferable
  • Strong organisational skill
  • Sound knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Resilient and positive attitude
  • Team player
