ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - LEGAL
Áine Gilhooly is an Associate Director and a qualified solicitor who joined Hunter Savage in 2017 as a Legal recruiter in the Dublin legal market.
Áine trained in a top tier law firm in Dublin and qualified into the Tax Group. She also spent time working for a Global Firm in Brussels as well as a niche firm in Dublin. She has first-hand knowledge of working in a corporate law environment.
Áine has an in-depth understanding of the legal market in Dublin and an extensive network in the industry. Áine is interested in helping lawyers who are investigating possible opportunities, either in the short term or in the future.
In her spare time Áine likes to travel. She is also a member of her local community choir.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - LEGAL
Andrew is a dual qualified solicitor who has practiced in Northern Ireland and England. After becoming a recruitment consultant for another company, he quickly gained an excellent reputation for providing confidential, consultative recruitment advice. He joined Hunter Savage early 2018 as our managing legal consultant covering the Northern Ireland Legal practice and In-House sector.
Andrew trained in a top regional law firm in Belfast and moved to a global firm in England thereafter.
Andrew has an in-depth understanding of the legal market in Belfast and an extensive network in the industry as well as a friendly and personable approach.
Ann is an experienced marketing consultant with over 25 years’ delivering high profile international events, managing five star visitor experiences, tourism campaigns and providing quality PR solutions for a range of senior industry professionals in both private and public sector organisations.
With a strong background in brand building, event management and co-ordination, Ann will be supporting Hunter Savage to deliver on its personalised and tailored approach with her trademark creative solutions and enthusiasm to maximise opportunities for both candidates and employers.
Caoimhe joined Hunter Savage in 2019 as a Recruitment Administrator and closely supports our recruitment consultants in Belfast and Dublin. Caoimhe is our first point of contact for client and candidate enquiries and she works hard with our recruitment team to ensure we deliver a professional and seamless service. In addition Caoimhe works closely with our Office Manager Sorcha to help manage our database administration and compliance, social media marketing and general administration duties.
Outside of work Caoimhe is a very keen swimmer, enjoys yoga and socialising as much as possible at the weekends.
Recruitment Consultant - Engineering & Supply Chain
Chris graduated with a BSc Hons in Property Investment and Development from the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. He has 8 years’ experience working in the property sector with RICS Surveyors and Structural Engineers. Chris works as a recruitment consultant on the Engineering & Supply Chain team where he recruits for engineering professionals from graduate to senior level across Northern Ireland working with a range of clients from SMEs to large multinationals.
In his spare time Chris likes to spend quality time with his family. He also enjoys long walks and relaxing with a rather large glass of red wine.
Associate Director - Legal
Colin Carroll is an Associate Director with Hunter Savage in our Legal recruitment team. As a senior recruiter, Colin provides bespoke and confidential career advice for in-house lawyers, partners and associates in London and Dublin.
Colin is also the founder of an international organization called the Lawyers’ Business Development Club. He has organized more than 100 TED-style talks, fireside chats and general counsel summits in London, Dublin, Paris, Dubai, Boston, New York and San Francisco. Guest speakers have included the Chairman of Goldman Sachs International, CEO of Facebook (Ireland), CEO of O2 (UK) and global General Counsel from FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Colin has partnered with global law firms on the Lawyers’ Business Development Club’s international events including Clifford Chance, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Herbert Smith Freehills, Hogan Lovells, CMS, Norton Rose Fulbright, Morgan Lewis, Reed Smith, Weil and White & Case. Colin also runs a series of exclusive invite-only private-dining events for general counsel.
Prior to this, Colin worked as a lawyer in London and Dublin. He also worked in the in-house legal department of a pharmaceutical company in the United States.
In his spare time, he enjoys running and travelling.
Recruitment Consultant - Sales and Marketing
Emma is an experienced Marketing and Sales professional, who joined Hunter Savage in 2018 to focus on Sales and Marketing recruitment.
Emma graduated from the University of Ulster with a BA Hons Degree in Fashion & Textile Design, and began her career within Marketing. In recent years, she has gained crucial first-hand experience in the field of Sales and Marketing with particular emphasis in the Digital sector.
Emma has an extensive network in this sector and works with clients across Northern Ireland seeking high quality professional people within Sales, Marketing, and Digital areas.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys socialising with her friends, training competitively in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is a keen animal lover, spoiling her beloved dogs.
Recruitment Consultant - Accountancy & Finance
Gavin is passionate about sourcing, recruiting and developing relationships with the most talented and driven Accountancy and Finance professionals in Northern Ireland. Dealing with independent local business, multinationals and everything in between.
Gavin had 15 years’ experience in consultancy based sales and over this time he has developed a strong business network across Northern Ireland.
Gavin’s downtime is spent relaxing with his family, on the squash court or travelling as much as possible.
Recruitment Consultant - Legal
James is a Legal Recruitment Consultant with Hunter Savage having joined the Dublin Legal team in 2018. James is a qualified solicitor and joins our legal team to recruit both solicitors and legal support staff in the Irish market.
Prior to joining Hunter Savage, James practiced in the Commercial and Business team of a highly respected commercial law firm in Dublin. James’ first-hand experience of the industry offers him a valuable insight into the Irish legal market.
James is a firm believer in building strong relationships with both clients and candidates alike and has established a vast network which places him in a unique position to guide legal professionals through the recruitment process.
In his spare time James enjoys socialising with friends, running and keeping fit, this year he ran the Paris marathon and this year he hopes to complete a triathlon.
Recruitment Consultant - Financial Services
John graduated from University of Ulster with a Bsc Hons in Business Finance and Investment. He has 8 years combined experience working in the financial services & sales industry working for companies such as Citi and Willis Insurance.
John has a passion for client and candidate service, working diligently to understand both client and candidate’s needs in order to build long lasting relationships.
Out of work John likes to spend time with his wife and 2 dogs. He also cycles a lot and spends time playing guitar and singing.
Recruitment Consultant - Accountancy and Legal Support
Kenton works as an Accountancy and Legal Support Recruitment Consultant in our Belfast office. Kenton is an experienced Recruitment Consultant and specialises in placing Graduates and Accountancy & Finance professionals across the private sector in Northern Ireland.
Kenton came top of his class and holds a first class honours degree, BSC (hons) in Business Management from the University Ulster.
Being an ambitious and friendly individual, Kenton wants the best for both candidate and client involved in the recruitment process, being inquisitive and understanding allows him to fulfil both parties expectations.
Outside of work Kenton enjoys cold beers with friends, attending local comedy gigs and taping into his inner entrepreneur by selling items on eBay…
Recruitment Consultant - Accountancy & Tax
Lisa joined Hunter Savage as a Tax and Accountancy recruitment consultant in 2019 in our Dublin office.
Lisa is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and experienced Chartered Tax Advisor (AITI).
Having trained and worked in two of the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms, Deloitte and PwC, over a period of five years, Lisa specialised in the areas of corporate international tax and financial services tax, working with high-profile clients across a diverse range of sectors.
Lisa’s dual qualification, in-depth knowledge of taxation and extensive network enables her to support tax and accounting professionals in search of their ideal roles and to assist clients in finding the most suitable candidates for their business needs.
Lisa aims to truly understand what both candidates and clients are looking for with the goal of finding the most perfect match possible.
In her spare time, Lisa likes to travel, socialise with friends and exercise.
Maggie is an experienced Resourcing Manager with a BA hons Degree in Marketing. Maggie has previously worked in Citibank Dublin, TICo Direct, Bank of Ireland, and Armagh Down Tourism Partnership.
Maggie manages and coordinates all our resourcing activities to identify potential candidates locally and those seeking relocation from other jurisdictions.
Ronan is an experienced senior recruiter and has specialised in recruiting Solicitors and Partners within the Legal practice and the In-House sector since he joined the recruitment industry in 2006. Ronan has worked as a Legal recruiter in Belfast, Dublin and Edinburgh
Ronan established Hunter Savage in 2010 with the goal of providing high quality recruitment services in niche sectors. He leads the growing team at Hunter Savage and is focused on people development within the business and promoting our company values of high quality, consultative recruitment services.
Outside of work Ronan enjoys spending time with his family. He has 2 kids and a lab. He enjoys outdoor cooking on his barbecue and pizza oven and occasionally enjoys sailing and DIY.
Sorcha has over 16 years office management experience working in the recruitment sector.
Sorcha brings a wealth of recruitment experience to her role and manages the running of our Belfast and Dublin office and focuses on providing one-to-one support to our consultants. Sorcha has expert knowledge of recruitment processes, database management, compliance, finance administration, marketing and advertising.
Sorcha joined Hunter Savage in October 2017.
Associate Director - Human Resources
Stephanie Mulholland joined Hunter Savage in September of 2016 to manage our HR recruitment services. Stephanie is Northern Ireland’s most experienced HR recruitment specialist with over 14 years experience. HR is a close knit and extremely well connected sector and Stephanie has a very successful track record in placing candidates at all levels, HR Director, HR Manager/HR Business partner through to advisor, officer and administrator. With strong HR connections across the UK and Ireland, her approach is consultative. Quality and success are key.
Stephanie works in partnership with a wide range of businesses from SME to global multinationals as well as new entrants to the NI market, assisting with recruitment exercises, benchmarking, offering advice on market conditions and providing a confidential, expert, consultative service.
Stephanie enjoys spending time with family and friends, wining and dining, holidaying and going to music and comedy gigs. An animal lover and complete “Dog Bore”! Her King Charles Spaniel, Harry, gets treated better than her husband!!
Recruitment Consultant - Accountancy
Steven joined the team in 2018 to focus on recruitment within the Accountancy Practice market in Belfast and throughout NI. As a professional recruitment consultant, he has gained a wealth of experience in this market, and supports both senior and junior candidates in finding the next step in their accounting careers.
Steven has a passion for people, and has an honest and friendly consultative approach with his candidates and clients, putting their needs first.
In addition, Steven has an extensive network in accountancy practice throughout greater Belfast, and an in-depth understanding of the various career options within this field.
Steven enjoys socialising with friends and Friday date nights with his wife, Megan. He regularly reads, plays football, attempts DIY in his home and loves craft beer and decent wine under £6.
